The Critical Role of Animal Studies in Developing New Medications for Substance Use Disorders: It Takes a Village
Dr. France will address the continuing opioid epidemic and high rates of drug overdose, share an overview of his team’s drug development program to combat these challenges, and provide an investigator’s perspective on the importance of collaboration. He will highlight the essential contributions of scientists, postdocs, students, research assistants, veterinary technicians, veterinarians, husbandry personnel, and facilities managers in advancing this vital work.
